My bilingual story begins in my childhood neighborhood. I spoke in English with my friends and Spanish at home. Therefore, the switch was natural.
I have been an elementary bilingual teacher for more than 15 years. I have had the privilege to promote bilingualism and biliteracy. Besides work experience, I was honored to participate in Masters program in Curriculum Instruction in Bilingual /Bicultural Education.
As a literacy coach, I guided teachers with student language and biliteracy acquisition.
Finally, as an administrator, mentoring took on a new level!
I enjoy supporting teachers in all aspects of the teaching profession!
